| Physics 11 A feather and a piano are dropped from the same height on the moon. Which will hit the ground first? Phsics 11 is an introductory course, covering topics from Newtonian physics through nuclear energy, that should help you answer this question. Class marks are comprised of tests (70%) and labs (30%).

| Physics 12 So Mars is starting to look attractive to you. Or perhaps you are contemplating surviving first year sciences at university? Physics 12 might be for you! Physics 12 is a course that demands a strong work ethic, solid mathematical skills and good problem solving ability. The class mark is based on tests (80%) and assignments (20%). Remember that the provincial exam(40% of total mark) is optional but still needed for credit at UBC.
