WORK EXPERIENCE WEX 12A, WEX 12B (included in Co-op Programs)
Work experience is intended to help prepare students for the transition from secondary school to the world of work. It is an opportunity for students to apply classroom learning in a context outside of school and bring a new perspective to their learning. It also gives students a chance to gain new skills that can be used in future work opportunities. The Work Experience courses are part of every Co-op and are also offered as stand alone courses to grade 11 and 12 students wishing to fulfill their graduation requirements with a  100-hour work experience.

CAREER TECHNICAL CONSORTIUM PROGRAM (CTC) AND DISTRICT PROGRAMS

During this time, one semester will be spent at Sullivan Heights Secondary and one semester will be spent at the partnership school, such as Kwantlen College or BCIT. These programs are excellent for providing students with the opportunity to become qualified trades people at a very early age.
