News and Events:
District Program Interviews:
All of our students who applied have been granted interviews to get seats in district programs! If they do well in the interview, they will be accepted into various programs like Plumbing, Culinary Arts, Carpentry, Welding and Hairdressing (just to name a few). Their tuition will be paid for and in most cases, they will finish their first level of apprenticeship while still in high school. Congratulations to all successful interview candidates.
See Mr. Shook for more information

Grad Transitions Interviews:
Interviews are well underway and most grade 12 students are either finished or close to completion. See Mr. Minckler for more information, or go directly to the grad transitions website

Work Experience:
Matt is currently doing work experience as a welder. If you are interested in earning credits outside of school hours and in getting a head-start on your career, come to the career centre so we can arrange an x-block work experience for you.

The District Partnership Programs are Career Preparation Programs developed to provide specialized training.  They allow students the opportunity to complete part or all of an entrance level trades training at the same time that they are completing Secondary School.  Students will receive dual credits and early registration into Post-Secondary.  The tuition for these programs is covered by the School District. Click on the "District Program" link for more information.

The Secondary School Apprenticeship Program is an educational program jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Industry Training Authority.  It allows students the opportunity to begin Apprenticeship Training as part of their Secondary School Education Program.  Students can earn credits towards both Graduation and the Provincially recognized Industry Training Certification.
