Resources for Teacher-Librarians

Information Literacy information from around the world

Information for Inquiry Based Learning in the Age of Information and Technology

A fantastic source of resources on a variety of library related topics - a MUST see!

Interested in reviewing books and getting up-to-date book reviews for all school aged students?   Check out this blog.

Kevin Amboe is the District Elementary Information and Resource Coordinator in School District #36 and has done an amazing job developing a website to support literacy and technology integration into elementary schools.  Check it out.  I especially like his connectedness diagram inspired by Joyce Valenza.

An outstanding Virtual School Library created and maintained by Joyce Valenza.  Not only did this site inspire many of the pages on my VSL, but it also taught me about various information literacy skills!  This is a must see for TLs in both high schools and elementary schools.

Interested in collaborating with TLs from all over the world?  Do you want information on the "up and up" of school libraries? Check out this wiki!
