Science 8
The Science 8 curriculum is designed to develop scientific knowledge in the areas of Cells and Body Systems, Optics, Fluids and Dynamics and Earth's Water Systems. In addition the curriculum fosters scientific process skills such as measuring, experimenting, organizing and communicating data, diagraming and modelling. Literacy is a school wide goal and emphasis will be placed on reading science textbooks for information.
