SurreyNet Home Page

SurreyNet is the Surrey School District's email, collaborative learning, and calendaring software that allows staff and students to create online knowledge-sharing communities easily and efficiently.  SurreyNet is setup using FirstClass communication software.

In order to access and use SurreyNet, you must have a valid SurreyNet account.  You may access your SurreyNet account either by using the FirstClass Client or a Web browser.

If you would like to log in at home, visit the FirstClass Client Downloads page to download and install the FirstClass client(s) currently used and supported by SD36.

For information regarding SurreyNet or existing accounts, please contact your local school/site or the IMS Service Desk at 604-592-3300.  The IMS Service Desk is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday).

Unauthorized use of SurreyNet is strictly prohibited.

FIRST CLASS SETTINGS - HOME COMPUTERS

To prevent future connection problems to SurreyNet, we ask our clients to ensure FC settings are set to use the host name fc.sd36.bc.ca, rather than an IP address.

Confirm your settings by launching your First Class Client.  Verify that the 'Server:' field contains the following setting:  fc.sd36.bc.ca.
If you see numbers, rather than this host name, please access 'Setup' on the login screen and change the 'Server' field information to fc.sd36.bc.ca.

Thank you.
